Xiaomi Redmi Y3 is quite active in the rumor world owing to the much awaited 32MP selfie camera. Now, a Geekbench listing shows that the device will come with 3GB RAM and the aging Snapdragon 625 chipset.
Snapdragon 625 chipset was available in the last year’s Redmi Y3 as well and the popular Redmi Note 4. Seemingly the company is not looking towards upgrading the SoC in its new device.
The smartphone will be officially unveiled on 24th April and looking at the old chipset we can expect it to feature quite an affordable price tag.
The listing also reveals that the smartphone will run on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and will pack a massive 4000mAh battery.
Previously it was rumored that the smartphone will launch as Redmi Note 7 in India but looking at the chipset we are quite skeptical.
Like many new midrange phones, the new Redmi Y3 will also come with the gradient colored back, dual camera and a fingerprint sensor
