Less than two weeks after the launch of Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi has released a new smartphone, Redmi 7 in the Pakistani market. It is the company’s new budget device which will be available for purchase starting today.
Xiaomi teased the arrival of Redmi 7 since the start of May. The device features 6.26 inches of IPS LCD display with 720 x 1560 pixels of screen resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, we get a 12MP primary lens at the back with 2MP of depth sensor while there is an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. The device packs a 4000mAh battery and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Pie.
The company will reveal the price of the smartphone later today and looking at Xiaomi’s history of providing quality specs at an affordable price, we can expect Redmi 7 to be priced below Rs. 30,000.
Redmi series focuses on providing budget devices with trending features to the users. It will soon see an addition of pop-camera smartphone in the coming weeks which according to recent leaks will be a flagship device called Redmi K20 Pro.
