Xiaomi Mi Max has been in the news a lot for the past couple of days but there was no word on the launch until yesterday when the company teased a white silhouette of the phone its official Weibo account along with the caption that good news will be shared tomorrow.
As per the promise, the Chinese manufacturer announced on Weibo today, that the Xiaomi Mi Max will be launching on July 19. The Weibo post that accompanies the launch poster states that the Mi Max 3 will be featuring a large-sized display and a big battery.
When it comes to battery, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 doesn’t hold back and is expected to come with a 5500mAh colossal battery. Max series from Xiaomi is already known to host huge batteries and with its 5300 mAh capacity, Mi Max 2 has already secured the top position in our list of smartphones with best battery life.
In the previous month, the Mi Max 3 had appeared on TENAA with all its specs. It will be housing a 6.9-inch display that will go in line with the trendy aspect ratio of 18:9. The mammoth display will support the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The phone is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 636 or 632 along with various RAM options that include 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM and the internal storage options will include 32/64GB and 128GB options.
Moreover, it will be the first Max phone to come with a dual rear camera setup. According to the rumors, the vertical rear camera will have a 12 MP Sony IMX363 sensor along with a 5MP sensor. For shooting selfies, an 8MP camera will be placed at the front.
Some rumors also claim that there will be another variant called Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro that will include Snapdragon 710 accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
