The Chinese manufacturer is going to launch its much-anticipated flagship, Xiaomi Mi 8, today. Thanks to the leaks, we already know our fair share about the specs and essentials of the phone but a recent leak confirms that it is going to be a multi-product launch where Xiaomi also plans to launch Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 along with Xiaomi Mi 8.
Although we have seen a lot about the Mi 8, it’s actually the Mi 8 SE that’s managed to intrigue us more with its first appearance along with the flagship on a Weibo account. If you look at the header image, you can see both the phones, however, the SE seems to acquire a low screen estate as compared to the flagship and has more sharp corners than that of the Mi 8’s rounded ones.
As for the MI 8 SE, it looks like the company looked to the much-rumored iPhone SE 2 for inspiration in design and name. According to a new leak, the Mi 8 SE is going to be ornamented with Snapdragon’s all-new 710 SoC and an AI-powered dual rear camera.
One photo shows the Xiaomi Mi 8 with a fingerprint scanner on its back which makes certain that Xiaomi might not come within display fingerprint scanner as previously rumored. Another picture shows a glimpse of the Mi Band 3 fitness tracker but doesn’t tell much about the device’s specs.
Xiaomi Mi 8 price has already been leaked by the same tipster who leaked these photos. According to the leak, 6GB/64GB variant will launch for 2799 Yuan and 8GB/128GB variant will go on sale for 3199 Yuan. However, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE’s price still remains unknown
