Vivo has been unleashing mid-range smartphones with a very short interval of time. Just a couple of days back, the company launched the Y93 in the Philippines and now Vivo Y95 has gone official in Pakistan. Earlier, the feature-packed Vivo V11 Pro was also launched which, in our opinion aced the mid-range segment.
The device comes with the company’s Halo Fullview display and a humongous battery, something that we have constantly been seeing in mid-range phones lately. The device comes at a price of Rs 34,999 in Pakistan and is available in two colors; Starry Balck, Nebula Purple.
The device is powered by a 1.9GHz Snapdragon 439 Octa-core processor that is backed by an Adreno 505 GPU. It has a 64GB internal memory on-board along with 4GB RAM that should make it swift enough for day to day use.
Running on the Android 8.1 Oreo, the Vivo Y95 features Funtouch OS 4.5. The device has a 6.22 inch IPS LCD Halo Fullview display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 that sums up into 270ppi. The screen also has a 2.5D curved glass.
As for the optics, the Vivo Y95 include a dual camera set up at the back; 13MP+2MP sensors with PDAF and LED flash. At the front, you get a 20MP sensor with AI enabled face beauty and selfie flash.
Finally, to power all this, a 4030mAh battery is installed that is expected to easily last a day and if the optimization is good, you may be able to drag the battery more than a whole day even on heavy usage.
