Vivo’s ever-expanding Y series has again welcomed a new addition, Vivo Y7s. The smartphone is similar to the recently launched Vivo S1 smartphone and is available for Chinese users.
Like Vivo S1, Vivo Y7s comes with 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, 2340×1080 pixels of screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is also powered by Helio P65 chipset but features a 6GB instead of 4GB of RAM and has a 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, there are triple cameras at the back, including 16MP f/1.7 primary sensor, 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle lens, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. There is also a 32MP f/2.0 shooter at the front for taking selfies while there is a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.
Vivo Y7s also features an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for added security and runs on FunTouch 9 OS based on Android Pie. The company has priced the smartphone at RMB 1,789, which translates to roughly Rs. 41,444 in Pakistan.
Apart from RAM, all the specs of Vivo Y7s are almost the same as Vivo S1, which leads us to believe that the company has only changed the name of its phone for the domestic market. Vivo S1 is coming to Pakistan at the end of July, and we have to wait and see if Y7s will pop-up in the international market as well or not.
