Vivo Y3 and Vivo Y5 smartphones tipped to launch mid-April

Vivo’s new budget devices Vivo Y3 and Vivo Y5 are expected to launch this month in India. The company is the official sponsor of IPL 2019 and will reportedly launch the two new devices during the T20 cricket series.

Most of the Y series smartphones are also available in Pakistan so we can expect the company to introduce Vivo Y3 and Vivo V5 in the local market as well.

Previously, the Y series phones have carried double-digit names like Vivo Y93, Vivo Y95, etc. but this time, the company is sticking with a single digit.

Although not much is known about the specs, some rumors suggest that Vivo Y5 will come with triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP f/1.8 primary camera, 2MP secondary depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

It will also pack a massive 5000mAh battery which indicates that the device will target the budget users who crave a phone that can last the whole day.

Last week, Vivo V1901 was revealed on TENNA and it looks like that it can be the upcoming Vivo Y5 as it also supports three cameras at the back and has almost the same battery capacity.

If this is true, then we can expect the smartphone to come with a waterdrop notch and 6.35 inches of screen with 720 x 1544 pixels.  It will also be powered by Helio P35 chipset with 4GB of RAM and inbuilt storage of 64GB.
