Vivo Nex 3 is the upcoming flagship from the Chinese maker Vivo who is ready to launch the phone on September 16th in China.
This is probably going to be the most rumored and massively leaked phone from the Vivo this year. Vivo Nex 3 offers too many features to wow; one of them is the screen to body ratio. Vivo Nex’s product manager Li Xiang teased the world by disclosing a 99.6% screen to body ratio this phone will boast.
He claims to have applied industry’s standard calculation method for measuring the screen to body ratio but also hints that the ratio might vary if any other method applied.
“Even with any other method, Vivo Nex 3 will have the highest ration as compared to any other smartphone as of yet, and no competitor will be able to reach this mark within six months”, Xiang further claims.
As you can see, in the leaked images the bezels on either side of the phones are practically non-existent allowing the display to overflow, unlike any other curve, edged smartphone. On the right side, the virtual keys for volume rocker and power on/off are visible. There is an additional power button on the top.
There are very minimum edges on the top and bottom of the phone, and this could be due to the ‘waterfall’ design.
Vivo Nex 3 is reportedly coming with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset which is also good news for gamers who can enjoy 6.89 inches of AMOLED screen that also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. This latest chipset is paired with two types of memory setups; 8GB and 12GB RAM whereas the internal memory could be 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.
Vivo Nex 3 is also going to feature a rounded camera setup on the back with a remarkable 64 megapixels + 13 megapixels and 13 megapixels lenses. On the front, there could be a dual selfie camera setup of 16 megapixels each.
This mammoth hardware will get the power from a 4500 mAh battery and support of 44W fast charging.
