While we are anxiously waiting for June 12 to see Vivo’ new marvel, the first bezel-less smartphone, Vivo Apex, a fresh leak has revealed the specs of the device and also that it may be named Vivo Nex.
The first photo of the smartphone has emerged which shows that Vivo Nex will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 8GB RAM. It will also have the latest Android Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0.
Vivo Apex was first introduced by the Chinese smartphone giant in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 as a concept smartphone but later in March, the company announced that it will start mass production of the smartphone in mid-2018.
The reason we think that Vivo Apex might be rebranded as Vivo Nex is that the latter shares the same design that the company introduced in its concept smartphone, Apex. The new smartphone has no notch and a bezel-free display so we can also assume that it may come with a pop-camera to provide a true full-screen display.
If the two phones are the same, Vivo Nex will be sporting a 6 inches OLED display with FHD+ resolution. The smartphone will also feature the in-display fingerprint technology which the company introduced in January this year at CES 2018.
