As the everyday life of the smartphone consumer is getting more fast-paced, the smartphone brands are rushing to develop technologies that can match their speed. To accomplish this task, they have been rushing to provide faster charging times for their devices. We have already seen 50W Super VOOC Flash Charge technology in OPPO Find X and now Vivo has surpassed it to provide 120W Super FlashCharge.
According to the company, the new technology can help to provide a 50% charge for a 4000mAh battery in 5 minutes and can fully charge the phone in just 13 minutes. Vivo will be unveiling the revolutionary tech at MWC Shanghai 2019 alongside its first 5G smartphone.
The new 120W SuperFlash Charge technology seems amazing but it could take some time before we see it in action in a retail product as fast charging usually creates heat and thus, Vivo will need to put appropriate measures at place to protect the smartphone. It is likely that Vivo may introduce it in its flagship devices in the next year.
Apart from Vivo, OPPO will also be participating in the event and will introduce the first under-display camera phone which will kill the notched displays for good.
