These Huawei phones will get the latest Android Pie based EMUI 9.1 update

EMUI 9.1 update based on Android Pie

Android Pie for Huawei phones is already out and has made its way to most of the famous smartphones from the company. Midrangers like the Honor 8X have also started receiving the update. Now, the company has unveiled a list of 49 models which will get the next EMUI 9.1 update.

The new update comes as the next step to the already announced EMUI 9 update based on Android Pie. The devices getting the update are categorized on the basis of the release plan.

Mate 20 series is listed eligible for the public beta program of the EMUI 9.1 update. Note that the latest Mate flagship series has already received the update. These phones include Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X and the Mate 20 Porsche edition.

Huawei EMUI 9.1 update

The next category includes the previous flagship as well as the famous midrange devices from the company. These phones are slated to be eligible for the closed beta program of the EMUI 9.1 update.

The handsets include the Mate 10 series, even the older Mate 9 series, the P20 series, and the P10 series phones. Since these were previous flagships, they were expected to receive the update. But Huawei did not stop on just the flagships. Other devices are included as well.

Among midrangers, Nova 4, Nova 3, Nova 3i, Honor 8A, Honor 8X, Nova 2s, Honor 7, Honor 10, Honor V10 are also included in the list.

In addition, 20 other models are also being included. These contain the Nova 4e, Nova 3e, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy 9 Plus, Enjoy Max, Enjoy 7s, Enjoy 9s, Enjoy 9e, Honor 9 Lite, Honor 8X Max, Honor 20i, Honor 9i, and the gaming phone Honor Play.

The update will no0t be only limited to smartphones but will also cover the tablets from Huawei. These tablets including Mediapad M5 lite (10.1 inches), Mediapad M5 Lite (8.0 inches), Mediapad M5 (10.3 inches), Honor Tab 5 and a few other tablets.
