Huawei recently launched its new operating which it is calling HarmonyOS, an English name for the much talked about Hongmeng OS, but at the same event, it also introduced the ten iterations of Mobile OS skin, EMUI 10.
The 10th version is being told to be much more powerful and optimized than all the previous layers. Although Android Q underpins the latest EMUI 10, there are features Huawei has introduced that are not even part of Android so far.
There is a dark mode coming with EMUI 10 that will also work on any third-party app on Huawei phones. Always on Display is also part of the upcoming iteration, and this time, almost every app/tool has been improved.
EMUI 10 is more responsive, and Huawei claims that running and switching apps will be faster due to the new EROFS (new file system) and GPU 3.0.
There are tons of features that we are waiting for, and the excitement is an all-time high.
Huawei’s upcoming Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be the first to come with EMUI 10 and later P30, and P30 Pro will get the OS update in September.
