We already know that Samsung is looking to bring some of the premium features in its mid-range device only to rival with the surge of Chinese smartphones from companies like Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, and Vivo that have turned their focus on mid-range flagship phenomena where premium features are offered at a comparatively lower price.
Samsung is all set to counterattack, in fact, it has become the first company to launch a triple camera setup in a mid-range phone. The race is advancing with Samsung now ready to provide another high-end feature in mid-range phones- wireless charging.
Reports have emerged that Samsung is ready to launch a wireless charger this month that will only cost $17. Keep in mind that currently, the company’s cheapest wireless charger is being sold at $46.
This huge price cut in charging pads suggests that the South Korean giant is making the technology available to cheaper phones as well. This new charging pad would perfectly fit on the price segment for the Galaxy A devices and Galaxy J family.
Currently, just a few devices from Chinese brands offer this amazing feature and all of them reside in the flagship category so if Samsung offers this technology for mid-range, every Chinese company will come up with its own counter-attack in order to capture maximum user, ultimately benefitting the users with a feature that was previously seen only in flagships.
