Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the 5G variant of its flagship smartphone Galaxy S10 Plus and now it plans to introduce Galaxy Note 10 5G phablet for people later this year.
The news was confirmed by Hans Vestberg, CEO Verizon (a US mobile carrier) while mentioning the upcoming 5G devices that will be coming in the company’s store. He said, “The Note and the Galaxy coming this year will both have 5G.”
A previous report by a Korean outlet revealed that Samsung will be bringing four Galaxy Note 10 variants where 2ttwo will come with 4G versions and the other two will be 5G versions. According to rumors, for the first time ever, the company will also be bringing two different display sizes in its different variants.
5G has been gaining momentum in the last few years and the progress can be witnessed in 2019 as many companies especially Huawei and Samsung have unveiled their 5G devices for this year. The 5G coverage as of now is quite limited and the buyers of Galaxy Note 10 5G will have to pay a premium price without getting any benefit at least in 2019.
As of now, there are not many rumors and leaks about the specs of Galaxy Note 10 5G or 4G variants apart from the possibility of four camera setup but we are sure to hear more about the flagship smartphone once the buzz from the Galaxy Fold debacle simmers down
