Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been the star of rumors for quite a time now. S Pen is one of shining features and a major selling pitch of the Note series which is going to get a huge upgrade in Note 9 according to the ongoing leaks.
Almost a week ago in his tweet, a renowned tipster, Ice Universe revealed that the S Pen in Note 9 is going to get the biggest update in its history and that it will be a feature “worth the wait”. Whereas another website claimed that the S Pen in the latest Galaxy Note 9 will come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.
A much recent tweet from the same leaker asserts that the S Pen will not just have the Bluetooth connectivity, it will be “something more” than just being a pen. The leaker claims that it will be used to control music playback and a long-range self-timer.

There’s a talk in the industry that the S Pen may also be used as a wireless Bluetooth speaker. For that, the Pen would have to have a battery which would add to the heft of the pen.
Another leaker going by the account of Samsung Mobile News has also made his contribution to the already prevailing rumors about the S Pen. According to him the S pen will have its own battery and will be charged whilst docked in the phone. It may also come with features like remote shutter control.
Earlier, the benchmark scores of Galaxy Note 9 surfaced on Geekbench revealing the 8 GB RAM of the phone. Other than that, the device is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 845.
Although, Galaxy Note 9 may be disappointing for some users, others are waiting anxiously to get their hands on the phone. Samsung has confirmed to launch the phone in an unpacked event on August 9 in NewYork.
