The rear camera setup reminds us of Realmi 6i which also shared this same configuration with some minor differences. Speaking of which there is one slight change that Redmi Note 9 has in contrast to Note 9 Pro, which is the presence of a physical fingerprint scanner. This might seem like a minor change, but it has a significant impact on its design.
Moving on Note 9 is equipped with MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core, which is a high-performance gaming processor. Meaning Note 9 spares no corners when it comes to demonstrating its power. Such power is backed by a big 5020mAh battery that offers a 16-hour gaming session at full charge as claimed by Xiaomi. The battery charges super-fast with the help of an 18W fast charger. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 ships out with MIUI 11, however, the company promises MIUI 12 update quite soon.
Redmi Note 9 is available in three standard colors Forest Green, Polar White, and Midnight Grey. It comes with a price tag of $199 for the base 3GB/64G), whereas $249 for 4GB/128GB. The price for the Pakistani market will be announced soon when it is launched locally in the second week of May.
