Xiaomi is ready to pump out the latest mid-range device, Redmi Note 9 Pro, in the market, and since the online launch event is not far, March 12, the leaks have started to reveal some major specifications.
Famous leakster Ishan Agarwal came up with some vital information, and according to him, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is coming with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and the Gorilla Glass 5 protecting it.
Unlike the waterdrop notch of Note 8 Pro, there is a punch hole on the front that will house a 16MP selfie camera. And on the rear side, a 48MP main lens, 8MP Ultra-wide, a 5MP Macro, and another 5MP depth sensor.
If the latest leak is to be believed, it looks like an interesting camera setup that seems to have been downgraded from 64MP to 48MP on the back and 20MP to 16MP on the front, but, at the same time, a boost in macro and depth sensor from 2MP to 5MP could be an exciting jump.
The device has also appeared on the FCC listing that hints about its battery power, which, apparently, has been improved this time from 4500 mAh to 5020 mAh and an 18W fast charger might come out of the box.
There is no concrete information as of yet, but a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G might come under the hood in support with a 4GB/6G RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage options. We should recall that Note 8 Pro was powered by Mediatek’s Helio G90T that never fell short in gaming performance.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro might launch with a ‘Max’ variant, and the leak suggests it could land with three color options, Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black.
Of course, both the devices are expected to carry MIUI 11 and Android 10.
We will keep you updated here soon as we get to hear some new things, but let’s keep our fingers crossed for some mouth-watering price.
