Xiaomi is ready to add a new member into its growing smartphone family in Pakistan. The company has teased the following image on social media with a caption, “Introducing a new family member, which letter do you think works best… K, I or T?”
The two smartphones at the sides already belong to the Xiaomi’s Mi family and the one in the middle looks like Redmi K20 smartphone because of a truly bezel-less display without a notch or a cutout.
Since the device has been launching in international markets as Xiaomi Mi 9T, we can expect it carry the same name in Pakistan.
The smartphone was first announced at the end of May 2019 and comes with 6.39 inches of AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels of screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 (8 nm) chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage.
In the camera department, we get a triple camera setup at the back featuring 48 MP, f/1.8, 26mm main sensor, 8 MP, f/2.4, 53mm telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 13 MP, f/2.4, 12mm ultrawide lens. There is also a 20MP motorized pop-up camera for taking selfies.
Xiaomi Mi 9T also packs a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. The Chinese smartphone maker has also included an in-display fingerprint sensor for additional security.
As of now, we are in the dark about the expected price or launch date of the smartphone in Pakistan but we will surely share the news with you once we know more details.
