Realme debuts in Pakistan with Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1

Realme has just debuted in Pakistan with its first offering being the Realme 2 Pro, a phone that has already been launched in other markets around the globe. Adding to that, the Chinese manufacturer also launched a budget device, Realme C1 in Pakistan.

Realme 2 Pro comes as a mid-range device whereas the C1 falls in the budget category with lower specs than its sibling. Realme 2 Pro has already proved its worth in our in-depth review where the device performed immaculately.

For the specs, the handset carries a Snapdragon 660, same chipset that also comes in a much pricier Vivo V11 Pro. A RAM of 8GB accompanies the SoC along with massive internal storage of 128 GB making the Realme 2 Pro the first phone to have such a huge RAM with this price tag.

Complying with the latest camera trends, Realme 2 Pro offers a dual camera setup on its back with 16 MP + 2MP lenses which comes equipped with AI integration so that it auto-detects the scene. Besides that, it is also capable of 4K video recording, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and AR stickers.

On the front, you’ll see a 16MP camera sitting in the front notch that is lit with HDR and AI trickery. Realme 2 Pro packs a 6.3 inch IPS LCD panel with
1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 ratio which offers a high 84% screeen to body ratio.

For power, the handset packs a 3500mAh which is not the best in class but can get you through a day. One of the negatives is the lack of fast charging. It’s about time that USB type-C should be made the standard for all mid-rangers along with fast charging.

Realme C1

C1 being the younger sibling, packs less powerful specs, hence comes with a much lower price tag. For the chipset, C1 packs a Snapdragon 450, the same chipset we have seen in the Oppo A7. Supporting the chipset is a 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB RAM.

On the front, you get a 6.2-inch screen with a traditional wide notch and presents a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.

Despite being a budget device, Realme has equipped the C1 with dual camera setup on its back having 13 MP + 2 MP lenses while on the front you get a 5MP

Battery is where the Realme C1 excels. It offers a huge 4230mAh battery and since it possesses a 720p screen so you can expect the battery to last long.

Price and Availability

Realme 2 Pro comes at a price of Rs. 45,999 which, of course, justifies its amazing specs and design language. Realme C1, however, comes at a much lower price of Rs 18,999 with toned down specs.

Realme has collaborated with online retailer Daraz as their official and exclusive sales partner where you can buy the phone for discounted prices of Rs 43,999 for the Realme 2 Pro and Rs. 17,999 for the Realme C1.
