Have you been facing touch issues in your beloved Pocophone F1 smartphone? Don’t worry, Xiaomi has got you covered as the company has officially asked users to submit their phones for testing.
The Chinese smartphone company recently rolled out a firmware update for the Pocophone F1 which featured some new updates and bug fixes, but reportedly, some devices have started to experience touch issues, and the firm has called out the affected users to return their phones so the company can fix the problem.
Alvin Tse, Head of Pocophone brand in a series of tweets, explained the situation to the users, and revealed that the company is seeking the affected Pocophone F1 units for testing. He said that at the moment it could not be stated whether the company would provide a replacement for the problematic phone unless the issue is irreversible.
Thankfully, Xiaomi will provide a replacement unit to the users while the company is analyzing their Pocophone F1 units. However, not everyone can simply send their phones for testing as you will have to first send your user ID, contact information, videos, and other required details to Xiaomi.
If the company thinks that your smartphone fits their criteria, only then they will contact you personally so you can submit your device.
Pocophone F1 was one of the highly anticipated smartphones of 2018 and was among our list of last year’s best phones with longest battery life. It was introduced in the Pakistani market in November 2018 with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and we hope that Xiaomi will be able to save its affordable flagship phone in time.
