The handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G (7 nm) chipset along with the Mali-G57 MC3 GPU for tackling the phone’s graphics. It comes with an 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

In the camera department, Oppo A72 5G offers 16MP (wide), 8MP (ultra-wide), and 2MP (depth) at the back. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie lens.

Oppo A72 5G is fueled by a 4040mAh battery which sports an 18W fast charging right out of the box.
