Soon after the launch of OPPO A5s in Pakistan, the company has introduced another entry-level smartphone, OPPO A1k for the users.
The smartphone offers some basic specs including 6.1 inches of IPS LCD display with 720 x 1560 pixels of screen resolution and a waterdrop notch. There is an 8MP camera at the back while the front features a 5MP selfie shooter.
OPPO A1k is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and comes in only one variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is no fingerprint scanner but as the phone runs on Color OS 6 based on Android Pie, you will have a Face Unlock feature inside your device.
One of the attractive features of OPPO A1k is its massive 4000mAh battery. According to the company, it also comes with “2x Fast Charge,” but it has not revealed any details to clarify what it actually means. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 20,999 and is available in retail stores starting today.
In the last few weeks, many new entry-level smartphones have been launched in the country including Samsung Galaxy A10 (Review), Tecno Camon i4(Review), Infinix Smart 3 Plus, Huawei Y6 prime 2019(Review), etc. It seems like smartphone brands are now looking to capture the market that is slowly moving away from feature phones to smartphones.
With all brands trying to offer attractive features at an affordable price, we’ll have to wait and see which will make its name in the entry-level phone segment this year.
