HMD Global’s much-awaited Nokia X6 launched in China last month and after seeing the response of users, the company has now decided to launch the phone globally.
Earlier company’s CPO Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to hold a poll about whether the phone should be launched globally or not and people’s response clearly was in favor of the global launch.
Nokia X6 has appeared on the Italian version of Nokia site whereas the company has also activated an India support page on its website that features Nokia X6. How much more revealing could it be? These are clear indications that point towards the Global launch of the phone.
There are two global versions of the phone that are being prepared for the launch according to the Bluetooth certification websites. The model numbers for these versions are TA-1083 and TA-1116.
Notably, the TA-1116 model was seen on Russian and Taiwanese websites of the company. This means that these two markets are getting the Nokia X6 for sure, even earlier than rest of the world.
However, the company had plans to launch the phone globally right from the beginning because, after the launch, Sarvikas told a Twitter user that the phone might see global markets.
As for the specifications, the Nokia X6 features a 5.8-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) LCD display and is the first Nokia phone that sports an iPhone inspired notch. The device is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor and comes with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM options along with an internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB.
Keep in mind that Nokia 5.1 leaks are also surfacing with high frequency so it might be possible that both Nokia X6 and Nokia 5.1 are going to launch on the same day.
