It seems that Nokia is not very much interested to focus more on flagship phones for 2018. Nokia released its flagship phone with Snapdragon 835 in 2017 and since then the company has not launched any phone with better specs. And now if reports are true, Nokia is working on a phone with Snapdragon 710 like Google’s mid-range Pixel phone.
The rumour came through famous tipster Ronald Quandt who tweeted that Nokia was reportedly working to launch a phone with Snapdragon 710 and it might be codenamed Phoenix. The tweet also showed the phone may release in autumn or winter 2018.
There were reports that Google is working on a mid-range Pixel phone and Ronald also talked about the Pixel phone in his tweet. He revealed the new mid-range Pixel phone powered by Snapdragon 710 would get the codename Bonito. If Ronald’s tweet is to be believed, we should expect a follow-up to Nokia 7 Plus or another plus model.
Snapdragon 710 by Qualcomm is from 700 series and falls between 600 and 800 series. SD710 has two Cortex-A75 CPUs and six Cortex A55 that run at the optimum frequency of 2.2 GH. However, there are no further updates about the phone, its release date, specs and features.
