Nokia 9 would be the first ever flagship which HMD Global is planning for this year. Yes 2018, as the reports are suggesting that HMD will not delay the launch which was the possibility earlier due to some production related issues which have now been settled reportedly.
Since it’s a flagship so we can expect it is coming with a bang; and the compelling feature is 5 lenses on the rear end. Yes, we are not talking about the 5 cameras combined on the back and front just like the LG V40 ThinQ.
Although, it is still a leak the latest one from OneLeaks seems more legitimate and closer to the real phone picture when it comes in a few months time.
There are total seven circles on the back side of the phone, and of course one is dedicated for the primary lens, second is for the LED Flash, and the rest could work as telephoto zoom, wide angle and monochrome lens since we learn this from our experience with the pattern of Samsung A9, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, P20 and even P10. There is still one more circle left which could be a depth sensor for better portraits, but only the final launch will confirm what Nokia 9 has inside the box.
The image doesn’t show any sign of fingerprint sensor on the front and the back, so an inbuilt fingerprint sensor is very likely an OLED display is also connected with such technology. We can’t rule out the possibility of face unlock.
The phone is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4150 mAh of huge battery, 5.9 inches of display, Android Pie (9.0) out of the box since its landing in 2018 and we already know the claims from HMD of providing the latest Android versions first on its phones. There are also talks about 6GB and 8GB variants along with 128GB internal memory, but still, we need to wait for more dependable leaks.
