Mobile World Congress (MWC) is around the corner and mobile manufacturers do not seem to miss the chance to ensure their presence on this big event. Galaxy S10 is set to launch around same dates and now many hints suggest that Nokia 9 Pureview with Penta-camera setup will also get launched on February 24.
Chief Product Officer of HMD Global Juho Sarvikas took it to twitter to announce that the company will be hosting an event on the said date on MWC in Barcelona, Spain. However, Sarvikas did not confirm which product the manufacturer would be unveiling but owing to the high level of anticipation and excitement, it would be the Nokia 9 Pureview.
The Nokia 9 is expected to come with a price tag of 4,799 Yuan which translate into almost Rs. 98,931.79 in Pakistan but we think the price will exceed this with customs duty and taxes if the phone gets launched in Pakistan.
Another promo video of the device has been leaked which shows that the phone will come with an HDR 10 enabled 2K display. Other than that, the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 at its core along with an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone is also rumored to come in s 256GB version and will also support a memory card.
Additionally, the leaked video also shows that the phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanning technology. However, these are just rumors so take them with a pinch of salt.
For the optics, Nokia 9 Pureview will come with 5 lenses on its rear. The specs and purpose of so many lenses are still not known publicly. It will also present a dual selfie camera but there is no information yet on whether the phone will support the face recognition tech or not.
Whatever the case may be, such emphasis on the MWC event from Juho Sarvikas certainly means that HMD Global is definitely cooking something delicious for their fans.
