HMD Global recently announced Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 along with other feature phones in Germany. The Finnish company announced to launch them globally in September, but a launch in Pakistan seems like a possibility in October since the local website displays both the Android phones.
From the specification, Nokia 7.2 appears to fall in the mid-range price category; however, Nokia 6.2 belongs to entry-level smartphones, yet, the smartphones have some commonalities.
Highlights and differentiating points of the duo are their camera setups. Nokia 7.2 boasts ZEISS Optics and features a 48-megapixel primary lens that is accompanied by 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a single selfie camera of 20 megapixels.
Nokia 6.2, on the other hand, does not come with ZEISS lenses and only features an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, whereas, the rear side holds a triple camera setup of 16 megapixels (wide), 8 megapixels (ultrawide) and 5 megapixels (depth sensor).
Both of the phones come with 3500 mAh battery and 10W charger with an additional commitment from HMD Global of 2 days of battery life.
Nokia 7.2 offers a 6.3 inches of IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 which is also the trait of Nokia 6.2 along with the common screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
However, there is a difference in the processing unit that makes them a part of a different price family. The mid-range phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM 660 and Adreno 512 GPU whereas the entry-level phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM636 and Adreno 509.
