HMD Global, the Finnish manufacturer, is allegedly rolling up their sleeves to launch a new midrange product, Nokia 6.2. Fresh reports suggest that the upcoming device will see the light of the day in a month or even less than that.
The leak comes through the Twitter handle @LeaksNokia. Besides the launch time frame, the report claims that the device will first be launched in China and will eventually make its way to other regions. This is not something new as we have already seen Nokia 6.1 Plus released in such a manner.
The handset is expected to come with a 6.2 IPS LCD but more interestingly, it will come with a punch-hole display like the Honor View 20. Like it or not, the increasing frequency of punch-hole camera suggests that it is not going anywhere anytime soon.
The phone will come in a 4GB RAM as well as a 6GB variant whereas both the variants with come with a 64GB internal storage but will also feature a memory card slot to expand the storage space.
For the camera, although the tweet suggests a Zeiss dual lens for the phone, Nokia 6.2 is expected to be the first Nokia phone to come with a Leica Dual lens having a 16MP+16MP. Like the Nokia 8 and other handsets, Nokia 6.2 is also expected to come with the Android One program so it will have stock Android although the Android version cannot be specified right now.
Though the rumor mill has started churning. We suggest you take these with a pinch of salt until an official statement is made.
