Nokia 5.1 Plus is all set to launch globally and comes as an upgrade to the already launched Nokia 5.1. Earlier the phone appeared on TENAA listing giving out the specifications. Today, press renders of the phone surfaced on the internet just two days before the launch of the phone.
The leaks give us a good look into the design of the phone and reveal a notched display with a substantial chin at the bottom while the side bezels of the phone are kept to a minimum.
The phone looks much like the earlier released Nokia X6, with the only difference being the size of the notch. The notch on the Nokia 5.1 Plus looks much wider than that of the X6.
With notch being wider, it can be safely assumed that Nokia 5.1 Plus may feature a dual camera on the front, which, however, isn’t clearly visible in the leaked images. It may also be possible that the phone provides a facial recognition setup with infrared light just like the Xiaomi Mi 8.
The phone boasts a glass back design which retains a dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner and looks identical to the X6.
Nokia 5.1 Plus is also known as the Nokia X5 and will be launching on July 11 and is reported to have a 5.8-inch display. The phone is rumored to be powered with Snapdragon 600 series or a MediaTek Helio P60 accompanied by a 3Gb/4GB/6GB Ralong with multiple memory options including 32/64/128GB. The rear camera is reported to consist of a 13MP+5MP combo.
