Motorola has announced its mid-range phone Moto Z3 Play, and the phone comes with a bigger display, new design, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and some cool features. Experts term this phone a mid-range affair but the specs offered in Moto Z3 Play may place it on the list of top android phones.

The phone looks nice and the price of $449 makes it a cheaper device with some impressive features. Moto Z3 Play has thinner bezels, brighter and bigger display, dual rear-facing camera and a glass back with an aluminum body.

Coming to the basic specs of the phone, Motorola ditched Snapdragon 626 and powered this new phone with Snapdragon 636 and 4GB of RAM. The phone also comes with external storage of 32GB and 64GB, depending on what suits the users.

It comes with a bigger and brighter display. The phone has now a 6-inch, Full HD+ AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Motorola has trimmed the bezels, making the display even bigger than its previous phones of Z lineup. The phone sports a fingerprint sensor mounted to the ride side, just below the volume buttons.

Moto Z3 Play features a dual-real camera of 12 and 5MP sensors while the front-facing selfie camera has one sensor of 8 MP. Apart from beautification, face filters and portrait mode, the camera also offers a number of interesting features including making customs gifs from videos, selective black and white, and changing the background of images.

Company’s Z3 was popular among the users for its decent battery of 3510mAh and Z3 also comes with a battery of 3000mAh that will be enough for a day of use. The company also claims the phone offers 40-hours of battery and we believe it will suffice.

The phone will go on sale today in Brazil and will be available in the US in summer for $449. Briefly, Motorola has presented a powerful, nice looking and decent phone that doesn’t cost much.
