Recently, we saw a new smartphone certified in Russia named Honor 9X Pro and now the specifications of the device have been leaked online. The smartphone will be slightly superior to the upcoming Honor 9X which is obvious from the “Pro” suffix with the phone’s name.
According to the leaker, the new smartphone will come with a 3D glass design with 6.5 to 6.7 inches of display. It is expected to come with Kirin 810 chipset, the successor of Kirin 710 chipset which is widely used in Huawei and Honors mid-range smartphones.
The smartphone is also rumored to come with quad cameras at the back featuring 48MP main lens, 8MP ultra wide sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. It will power up the smartphone with 4000mAh battery sporting 20W fast charging capabilities.
Instead of a notched display, Honor 9X Pro may come with a punch hole for 25MP selfie shooter at the front. It is likely that the smartphone may come alongside or soon after the launch of Huawei Nova 5 but amid the ongoing US-led ban, we are not sure whether it will come with the Android or company’s custom-built Hongmeng OS.
The Chinese smartphone maker is bracing to see 40%-60% decline in its smartphone sales in the international market this year and is preparing to pull out Honor 20 shipments if it fails to receive a warm response from the users. Amid this chaos, we are not sure what will happen to the Honor X series which has managed to make a name of itself even in Pakistan.
