Leaked CAD Renders Show HMD Global May Release Nokia 5.1 Plus

2018 has been a great year for HMD Global, the company that owns Nokia brand smartphones. The company in the past few weeks has released a number of phones including Nokia 2.1, Nokia, 3.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia X6. A recent CAD render shows the company may launch an updated version of Nokia 5.1 and it will be hailed as Nokia 5.1 Plus.

It has not been so long when the company launched three of its lower mid-range phones and now this render shows another lower mid-range Nokia phone is under plans and may hit the markets sooner. Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks who is believed to be a reliable person for phone leaks has uncovered these details about Nokia 5.1 Plus.

The renders also suggest the new Plus version will not only keep up with the 18:19 and full-screen display, it may also feature a notch like Nokia X6 that was released in China a while back.

Nokia 5.1 Plus may come with a glass and metal design and a vertically placed dual-camera setup on the back. Nokia 5.1 Plus has stunning resemblance with Nokia X6 but the notch in Nokia 5.1 Plus looks wider than that in Nokia X6.

There are no further updates on phone specs but it’s also reported Nokia 5.1 Plus may come with a processor that’s a bit more advanced than the MediaTek’s 2.0GHz Helio P18 found in the 5.1 and a 3GB of RAM.
