The company has already started teasing its global audience to expect an iconic Mate 30 like design coming on their way in the mid-range category. At PY, somehow, we got our hands on the information regarding the possible specifications of the upcoming Huawei Y9a.

Apart from the sleek flagship inspired design, the phone is coming with mammoth 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can further extend to 256GB through an NM card.

As the trend goes, the device features a pop-up selfie camera of 16MP, placed on the left area. Whereas, the rear camera setup resembles that of Huawei Mate 30, carrying a quad-camera arrangement comprising a 64MP high-resolution primary lens along with an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP for macro shots. There is a dual-flash located near the left edge just above the camera circle.

The Chinese giant, Huaewi claims the Y series phone will outperform its rivals in night photography since the phone is capable of taking AIS-based super-night shots and features EIS for stable video recording.

The rear side, which looks curved from the left and right, is a nanometer 1024 level gradient design with 3D pressure forming.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the back but the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner doubling the power key similar to recent siblings like Huawei Nova 7i.

Another major highlight of this device is the 40W charger that can supercharge its 4200 mAh battery to 67% in just 30 minutes.

Huawei Y9a boasts 6.63 inches of full view display, offering 1080 x 2400 px resolution. And to run everything on board, there is a Mediatek G80 octa-core chipset under the hood with two A75 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz and six A55 cores clocked at 1.8Ghz.

The pre-ordering starts from September 14th and the early birds can also claim a Huawei Band 4 as a gift.
