Not only does Huawei aim to capture a significant chunk of the midrange market but also the budget segment as well and the newly launched Huawei Y5 Lite is evident of that.
Even though with some of the most successful launches of the year like the Huawei Y9 2019 in mid-range category and Mate 20 Pro in flagship, its good to see that the manufacturer is not leaving the entry level market unattended.
Huawei Y5 Lite is priced at Rs. 16,499. At this price, the specs that the phone presents are really justifiable, although they may not suit some users.
The device is packed with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable to 256GB and is equipped with 1GB RAM but before complaining about that, the price should also be kept in mind.
The phone features a 5.5 inch Fullview display and being an Android Go device, it runs on Android Oreo 8.1. For the optics, the device packs an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front which does not seem much promising.
As far as specs, we do think that Xiaomi and Vivo are offering smartphones with better specs in this price range. Y5 Lite really lacks any point to attract the users.
