Budget Huawei Y5 2019 launches with Helio A22 chipset

Huawei Y5 2019 has been making rounds in the rumor mill for quite some time and finally, the device has been officially unveiled by the company.

It is yet another budget device by the company whose key specs were revealed in a recent leaked. Huawei Y5 2019 comes with a 5.71-inch display with 1520 x 720 pixels of screen resolution. The device comes with a waterdrop notch and minimum bezels at the front.

It is powered by Helio A22 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. It also has a dedicated slot for microSD card which can expand phone’s storage by upto 512GB.

It sports a 13MP camera at the back while the front has a 5MP selfie snapper like many other entry-level smartphones in the market. It packs a 3020mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9 based on Android Pie.

Huawei Y5 2019 will be available in four colors; Midnight Black, Modern Black, Amber Brown, and Sapphire Blue. All phones except for the Saphire Blue variant will come with a faux-leather finish which we saw earlier in Huawei Y6 Prime 2019.

Looking at how the company names its budget devices in the country, we can expect the Huawei Y5 2019 to come in the Pakistani market as Huawei Y5 Prime 2019.
