Last month, Huawei left us all confused when a report detailing the company’s plan to launch the upgraded model of its last year’s midrange smartphone started to make rounds online. The upcoming Huawei P20 Lite 2019, whose name left us all confused because of the presence of Huawei P30 Lite (Review) in the local market, has recently been listed on Swiss retailer MediaMarkt’s website with detailed specs and price.
Huawei P20 Lite 2019 will feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ LCD display with a punch hole on the top left side to provide a 16MP selfie shooter. It is powered by Kirin 710 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and expandable 128GB of internal storage.
It features a quad camera setup at the back including the combination of 16MP, 8MP, and two 2MP lenses but unfortunately, we are not sure about the purpose of each of the lens at the moment. We can assume that the 16MP lens is the primary camera sensor, the 8MP lens can be the telephoto sensor as for the other 2MP lenses, they can be depth and macro sensors.
Huawei P20 Lite 2019 despite the Android ban runs on EMUI 9 based on Android Pie which makes us believe that the company has already developed it for the smartphone markets. It also packs a 4000mAh battery and will be available in Crush Blue, Charming Red, and Midnight Black colors with the price tag of CHF 299.95 (~ RS. 45,961 without taxes in Pakistan).
