As we are moving forward in 2019, the rumors and leaks have started to surface regarding Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The Chinese smartphone maker made a splash in the mobile phone world with the launch of Huawei P30 Pro (camera review) earlier this year and soon after was hit with the US ban.
Finally, the company has averted the crisis after Trump announced that Huawei can once again trade with American firms. Now all eyes are fixed at the Huawei Mate 30 Pro which based on the past releases will probably come in October 2019.
According to a new leak, the smartphone will be featuring a circular camera design, completely different from the predecessor, Huawei Mate 20 Pro which debuted with the square-shaped camera. As you can see in the image below, the alleged back panel of the phone has a round cut at the place of the camera.
It is too early to be sure about this new feature and we’ll have to wait for the real phone’s images to see whether the company will be moving forward with this design. The smartphone is rumored to come with quad-camera setup at the back and is expected to come powered by Kirin 985 processor.
Leaks also suggest that Huawei Mate 30 Pro will pack 4,200mAh battery which will sport 55W SuperCharge and reverse charging. The 5G variant of the device, on the other hand, is scheduled to be released in December this year.
