We are only a day away from the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series but we can leave it to Huawei to overshadow the main event of the South Korean smartphone maker with the news of its own flagship device.
After introducing a new camera technology (RYYB sensor) in P30 Pro (Camera Review), the biggest Chinese smartphone company is ready to introduce two 40MP camera sensors in Huawei Mate 30 Pro. More importantly, the two sensors will be massive as well, according to Ice Universe-a reputable leaker.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro will come with P30 Pro’s 40MP 1/1.55-inch camera sensor with an RYYB pixel design along with a new 40MP 1/1.7-inch sensor which will probably be behind the phone’s ultrawide angle lens. Reportedly, the company will also be including an 8MP telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom
The magic doesn’t end here as the recent leaks indicate that Huawei Mate 30 Pro will bring a Pro mode for shooting videos similar to LG’s Manual Video mode where the people can simply rely on their phone to shoot high-quality videos by tweaking the settings to their own liking.
While Huawei has set a pattern for showcasing camera innovation in P series and performance in Mate series, it will be interesting to see the company pushing its own limits to reach new heights in mobile photography.
Earlier this year, Huawei gave us a phone that can see in the dark (P30 Pro low light camera review), let’s see how the company will steal the limelight from Apple and Samsung in the second half of 2019.
