Huawei has been making some awesome phones lately, and Mate 20 Pro seems to be raising the bar further. It is confirmed that the three phones series – Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 Porsche – will be releasing on 16th of October but the constant leaks have raised the curtain a little.
The devices have code names Hima, Laya and Everest for Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 Porsche respectively.
Other than Porsche, which will be, of course, the premium one among the three, both Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will support 15W wireless charging and 40W USB-C fast charging. They will also feature in-screen fingerprint scanner which a promotional image confirms as uploaded by slaskleak. In addition to microSD, there will be a support for nanoSD additional storage option as well.
Both will feature the homebuilt latest 7-nanometer based Kirin 980.
Mate 20 will have a 6.53 inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display, 4GB RAM, 24 MP front shooter, a 4000 mAh battery, 3.5 mm audio jack, IP53 dust, and waterproof rating.
The screen on Mate 20 Pro will be different with OLED QHD curved display, 6GB/8GB RAM, IP67 rating, 4200 mAh battery and yes like the Mate 10 Pro, no audio jack which suggests there will be a converter in the box like the earlier model.
Depending upon the regions, both will have the ROM support starting from 64GB that goes up till 512GB including the 256GB variants as well.
Like the P20 Pro, there is triple camera support on the rear which is squarish in outlook, a much different and pleasing arrangement as it appears.
