Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 grabbed the highest number of pre-orders in Pakistan. Even the Google-Huawei controversy, caused by a tension in US-China relations which was later resolved after a joint meeting of the presidents of both the countries, could not shake the trust of Pakistani consumers on Huawei’s products, a senior official of the company briefed.
“There is a 300 percent growth in the pre-orders as compared to its predecessor Huawei Y9 2019”, told Scott Zhao Huang, Country Manager Huawei Pakistan to a media audience.
The primary reason behind the popular response from the audience is its pop-up selfie camera, which is available at the lowest price tag in the local market.
The Chinese company is offering Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 for Rs. 33,999 as of now that is much cheaper than Vivo V15’s Rs. 45,000 and Oppo F11’s 54,999 price tag.
Other than 16MP motorized selfie camera which gives an f/2.0 aperture, the phone comes with a triple lens on the rear that includes 16MP wide angle, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor.
The pop camera makes possible the full view display that boasts a 6.59 inches IPS LCD that also provides 1080 x 2340 px resolution and 84.3% screen to body ratio.

Coming back to Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, it is run by a similar chipset Hisilicon Kirin 710F chipset which it inherits from the previous version. Although you can put a microSD card of 1TB inside, the phone offers a considerable memory of 4GB/128GB.

Another key feature is the introduction of USB Type-C instead of conventional micro USB, which is a welcome sign from Huawei in this price category.
There is EMUI 9 over the Android 9.0 (Pie), rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4000 mAh battery that powers the phone.
