Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie Rolling Out Worldwide

Huawei recently took it to Twitter to announce the global roll out of their latest EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie.

If you are a Huawei user, keep your eyes peeled for the next couple of days to watch out for the update, however, the EMUI 9.0 will not come to all the Huawei Phones but will be aimed for selected handsets which include last year’s flagships and some of this year’s mid-range phones.

Following is the list of devices getting the EMUI 9.0 in the coming days.

  • Huawei Mate 10/Mate 10 Pro/Mate 10 Porsche Design
  • Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
  • Huawei P20/P20 Pro/P20 Lite
  • Honor 10
  • Honor View 10
  • Honor Play

You’ll need to have a 4GB free storage on your phone to install the update along with a WiFi connection. Those of you who are already on Android Pie beta should expect the update no more than 770 MB for the stable version.

Besides all the perks that Android Pie offers like the digital wellbeing etc, EMUI 9.0 will also offer an improved UI.
