In the light of recent Huawei ban, many analysts are anticipating China’s retaliation to the latest US’ assault against the country’s largest smartphone maker. While some analysts are speculating that the country can do serious damage by banning Apple products from its markets, Huawei’s founder and CEO firmly declared that he will not accept this move.
While talking to Bloomberg about their company’s recent placement on US ban list, Ren Zhengfei said that he would object against any move to ban Apple products in China.
Answering the question regarding Goldman Sachs’s prediction of Apple losing a third of its profits if China banned Apple from the world’s largest market, he said, “That will not happen, first of all. And second of all, if that happens, I’ll be the first to protest.”

With this statement, the company head has asserted that the company is neither looking for retaliation nor it hopes for such an outcome. During the interview, he further added, “Apple is my teacher, it’s in the lead. As a student, why go against my teacher? Never.”
Huawei is resolute about its position on any impending Apple ban but this does not mean that everything is okay for one of America’s largest corporation. Recently, many influencers in China (the second biggest market for Apple products) have switched from Apple to Huawei to show solidarity with their country’s corporation.
According to the US-based tech-company, the US-China trade rift has been the cause of its plunging sales which has a deep impact on the company’s revenue.
