Huawei CEO would be “first to protest” if China banned Apple products

In the light of recent Huawei ban, many analysts are anticipating China’s retaliation to the latest US’ assault against the country’s largest smartphone maker. While some analysts are speculating that the country can do serious damage by banning Apple products from its markets, Huawei’s founder and CEO firmly declared that he will not accept this move.

While talking to Bloomberg about their company’s recent placement on US ban list, Ren Zhengfei said that he would object against any move to ban Apple products in China.

Answering the question regarding Goldman Sachs’s prediction of Apple losing a third of its profits if China banned Apple from the world’s largest market, he said, “That will not happen, first of all. And second of all, if that happens, I’ll be the first to protest.”
