Honor V20 has just launched in China with some mouthwatering features. The phone was making headlines earlier with all kinds of rumors about its design and camera and dare we say, the anticipation was worth it.
The smartphone will launch globally on January 22 at an event in Paris. Just like the Huawei Nova 4, Honor V20 comes with an in-screen hole for the selfie camera.
Honor V20 comes with three latest technologies– an in-display front camera, a 48MP rear camera, and a Link Turbo technology which allows the phone to merge the Wifi speed along with the 4G VoLTE to provide a blazing fast connection speed.
The device features a 6.4-inch LCD display with 1080×2310 pixels resolution and 19.25:9 aspect ratio. It packs a taller display in shorter body thanks to the punch hole camera which Honor claims much smaller at 4.5mm against the 6.7mm diameter of camera hole in Galaxy A8.
The smartphone is powered by Kirin 980, a latest 7nm chipset from Huawei that is used in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Honor Magic 2. It comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM supported by 128GB or 256GB internal storage
On the back, the handset is equipped with a 48MP camera sensor which is the largest on any smartphone. Along with the main camera is a 3D TOF (time-of-flight) lens that can be used for 3D applications and mapping of objects.
On the software front, the Honor V20 sports Magic UI based on Android 9 Pie. The device comes with a 4,000mAh battery and supports supercharge. It does not provide water or dust resistance and will be available in Red, Black and Blue colors.
