Honor is finally out of the dangerous waters as the US government has eased the restrictions against Huawei, allowing it to trade with US firms, including Google, which provides the Android operating system.
The company launched Honor 20 series amid the chaos and was willing to pull its shipments in case of poor sales, but now all smartphones in the series are due to get Android Q update, and things are not too gloomy for the company in the present.
Amid all this happiness, we have another reason to rejoice as Huawei will be launching its much-anticipated Honor 9X smartphone this year and according to our sources, the device is confirmed to launch in Pakistan as well.
Last year’s Honor 8X (Review) managed to draw the audience’s attention who were looking for a stylish design in the budget phone category and seeing the warm response the X series received in Pakistan, Honor’s decision is not surprising to us.
It was previously reported that Honor 9X would also be coming with a pro variant this year whose specs have already leaked online. We are not sure whether the Chinese smartphone maker will be bringing both phones in Pakistan or not.
Honor 9X is expected to come with Kirin 980 chipset, a triple camera setup, and 3750mAh battery. Since Huawei and Google can work together again, we don’t expect to see Hongmeng OS anytime soon, and the Honor 9X will probably come with the Android Q out of the box.
