We previously informed you that Honor 20 Pro is coming to Pakistan but now our sources have revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker will start the pre-ordering of the smartphone from 5th August 2019 in Pakistan.

The smartphone was initially launched in May 2019 amid the Huawei ban chaos and has now started to make its way to different markets across the globe. Let’s break down its main features:

Design & Display

Honor 20 Pro is a beautiful flagship smartphone which flaunts what the company is calling a “Dynamic Holographic” glass back which creates a 3D effect.

It features 6.26 inches of IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixels of screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is no notch at the top of the display instead there is a small punch-hole at the top left side for the selfie camera.

The device is powered by Kirin 980 chipset built on 7nm technology and will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge support which according to the company, can charge 50% of the battery in just 24 minutes.

For photography, we have quad cameras at the back including a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor (1/2”, 0.8µm pixels) featuring OIS, EIS, and f/1.4 aperture which according to Honor, allows 60% more light than the f/1.8 aperture.

Next, we have an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x lossless optical zoom 5x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom, the first-ever 2MP dedicated macro lens that can capture an object which is 4 cm away and lastly, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 117 degrees field of view. For selfies, there is a 32MP shooter at the front.

Other Features

Interestingly, Honor 20 Pro comes with a side-stacked fingerprint sensor and runs on Magic UI 2.1 instead of Huawei’s EMUI software. It will also feature GPU Turbo 3 to provide a smooth gaming experience and Graphene Cooling Sheet technology which can efficiently dissipate heat produced by the phone.

Honor is seemingly spreading its wings after the US government eased the restrictions on Huawei and later on will also be launching Honor 9X seriesHonor 8A and Honor 10i  smartphones in Pakistan.
