Despite the speculations and the prancing rumors, Google has not yet indicated anything about the launch, or specs of its upcoming flagship series Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL but like always, that has never stopped the leaks coming in and keeping us occupied while we wait for the end product.
Early rumors suggested that Google was working on 3 smartphones for the upcoming Pixel lineup including two flagships and the third phone that will specifically target the budget market.
Recently a Google Pixel 3 and 3 Xl leak made its way to the social media website Weibo. Although the picture was taken down quickly but couldn’t escape the eagle eyes of the tech world. The leaked picture seems to be of some screen protectors for the handsets and gives out a lot of information about the design of the phones.
The picture shows that both the phones will have dual cameras on the front and a dual speaker setup just like their predecessors. The Google Pixel 3 will come with rather thick bezels on top and bottom whereas the 3 XL will port a notch, hosting the dual camera, earpiece, and sensors. Front dual cameras are getting popular by the day as recently launched HTC U12+ also hosts dual camera on the front.
Moreover, the Pixel 3 seems to host an 18:9 screen aspect ratio while the XL seems to have a 19:9 aspect ratio thanks to the notch. The phones are also expected to come with a 3D facial unlock that will rival the Face Unlock of iPhone X. The phones are expected to release in Q4 of 2018.
