As we are getting closer to the launch of Samsung’s latest flagship, leaks are showing up in abundance. This specific leak concerns the camera of the Galaxy S10 which is supposedly coming with a ‘Bright Night’ feature that will allow the phone to take extraordinary shots in low light scenarios.
This feature, however, is not something that we haven’t seen already. Google already equipped the Pixel 3 and 3XL with ‘Night Sight’ for low light pictures and this is also one of the many reasons that put Pixel 3XL on top of the best camera phones of 2018.
A new report from XDA developers points out the mention of ‘Bright Night’ in the code for One UI Beta, Samsung’s latest software platform that launched on the Galaxy Note 9 and is based on Android Pie.
The Samsung camera apk in the code string suggest that the phone will take multiple shots of the subject and combine them all to achieve a well lit and bright picture without the use of flash.
This camera feature is most likely to debut on the Galaxy S10 and will come to other flagship like the S9 and S9+ via over the air update.
Besides this amazing low light capability, Galaxy S10 is also tipped to come with reverse wireless charging, a feature earlier seen on Mate 20 Pro, and 5G.
