We already heard rumors about the Galaxy Note 9 launching earlier than expected but the recent leaks suggest that the phone may launch August 9, 2018, which is about two weeks earlier than its predecessor was launched.
A report by Bloomberg discloses that the launch event will be held in New York. It comes with information about the phone’s build and says that the phone will not have much difference in terms of design than the Note 8 but will feature upgraded internals.
Asking for anonymity, some industry insiders told Bloomberg that Galaxy Note 9 will feature a Snapdragon 845 chipset. Other leaks also suggest that Samsung is working on a reinvigorated version of the camera for the Galaxy Note 9.
Earlier, the phone was tipped to have an in-display fingerprint sensor but the possibility was ruled out by a reliable tipster who claimed that the smartphone will have a traditional scanner. The same leaker tipped that the Note 9 may come with 512 GB of internal storage accompanied by 8 GB of RAM.
Besides the Snapdragon 845, Galaxy Note 9 is also rumored to come in with Exynos 9810 and as per the benchmark leaks that surfaced earlier, Exynos 9810 variant scored amazingly high in the tests.
Other than that, the phone is expected to come in three variants in term of internal storage, 64GB/128GB/512GB which will be accompanied by 6GB/8GB RAM. It’s also predicted that Note 9 will have an upgraded battery of 3850 mAh or 4000 mAh.
