The Chinese smartphone maker has added EMUI 10 in its keynote schedule for its most anticipated developer conference which may finally unveil Huawei’s Hongmeng OS.

The two-day event will be attended by over 1,500 partners and 5,000 global developers this year, making it the biggest developer conference of Huawei till date. The stable version of Android Q will be unveiled in the same month but Google has yet to confirm the date of the launch.

EMUI 10 launch schedule carries the tagline “Linking the future of the world” which makes us excited about what the company has in store for its smartphone users. The keynote will be given by Dr. Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software, the department which creates the UI for us.

We do not know much about the Huawei’s upcoming EMUI 10 apart from the list of Huawei and Honor smartphones which ate eligible for the update. Some rumors suggest that the company will be redesigning the UI with the new visual experience, slightly changed fonts and icons.

Reportedly, multitasking would be faster to provide a much more fluid experience in the new software update and the camera app will be tweaked to offer more functionality to the user. Moreover, EMUI 10 is expected to bring the GPU Turbo 4.0 update to increase the gaming performance of the smartphone and second generation of ARK Compiler that will help the device to run smoothly for a longer period of time.
