Honor is getting ready to bring new smartphones for the Pakistani market. As we reported earlier, the Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to launch Honor 9X in Pakistan after its official launch on 23rd July and now our sources have confirmed that Honor 8A will also soon make its debut in the country.
Since May, we were not sure about the future of Honor and Huawei devices as the US ban forced Google to break off ties with the world’s second largest smartphone manufacturer based on shipment volume in Q1 2019.
Thankfully, the crisis has been averted which seemingly has opened Honor’s shackles to once again woo the audience with absolute certainty about the Android’s everlasting updates for its devices.
Honor 8A was initially launched in January 2018 and offers 6.09 inches of dewdrop display with 720 x 1560 pixels of screen resolution. The device is powered by Helio P35 chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, we get a standard 13MP lens at the back and an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. Honor 8A also packs a 3020mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie.
The smartphone is expected to launch at the end of July or in August. It will likely be the last device carrying the “Honor 8” prefix after the Honor 8X (Review), Honor 8C (Review) and Honor 8S (Review) devices which were launched earlier in Pakistan.
We are not yet sure whether Honor 8A will be launched alongside Honor 9X or before but we will make sure to update when the company will make the news official.
